Throughout Katheryn’s life, there had been a
succession of crises. Her mother, dying at her birth, sexual molestation
at an early age, five miscarriages, a failed marriage, a husband diagnosed
with MS. She lost her home, her counseling practice and all her earthly
possessions taking care of her dying husband. As the roller coaster of
events continued, the one sustaining gift was her dreams. She was guided
by her dreams in very practical and spiritual ways. Most importantly,
she understood the significance of suffering in the human experience,
and that suffering was a window to greater awareness. Once she embraced
this guidance, her life became filled with a tremendous joy and peace
that contradicted all outer appearances. It was through this experience
that Katheryn became committed to leading others to dream awareness.
Katheryn’s approach is summarized as follows: It is through embracing
our human suffering and walking through it that we honor the intent of
our soul. As the old and painful ways of thinking, feeling, and being
are shattered, life becomes more meaningful. The fact that we are spiritual
beings gives us the strength to take on our human challenges. Katheryn
supports people with their dreams via telephone consultations, speaking
engagements, workshops and seminars. She also has a successful private
practice in Salem, Oregon.
